Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize VA cases requiring life-saving treatment
- Review clinical reports, injury dates and previous treatment records
- Coordinate immediate life-saving medical support to injured civilians
- Verify the admission of VA cases in hospitals
- Assess and refer VA cases for additional support
- Follow-up daily on individuals receiving medical treatment
- Create monthly medical treatment summaries for each beneficiary
- Review hospital claims against services provided to verify charges
- Provide technical coaching to assigned Medical Assistants
- Maintain strict confidentiality about the beneficiary and treatment
- Participate in health sub-cluster meetings
