Responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs for FSQA policies and procedures implementation.
• Draft specific inputs for food assistance programmes design.
• Implement corporate FSQA incident management and emergency response protocols.
• Follow WFP FSQA regulations in field operations systems.
• Provide technical inputs to supply chain colleagues on food safety.
• Liaise with counterparts across agencies to compile sources of data.
• Participate in FSQA assurance and packaging research.
• Liaise with staff and partners to strengthen local food producers capacity.
• Assist operations to build capacity of food control systems.
• Assist FSQA-related initiatives in the country office.
• Strengthen capacity of staff and stakeholders on food safety requirements.
• Collect and organize data to support report preparation.
