• Managing financial reporting and cash forecasts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Supervisory, coordination, problem-solving, and deadline-management

• Report-writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review the work of the Project Accountant
• Monitor project budgets, expenditure, burn rates, and forecasts
• Review payment requests, advances, settlements, and payroll inputs
• Oversee cash and bank management and project liquidity
• Prepare or review monthly financial statements and reports
• Coordinate with program, logistics, HR, and field teams
• Oversee financial documentation of health and nutrition project payments
• Maintain effective financial controls and complete audit trails
• Support donor verifications, spot checks, and audits
• Provide practical financial guidance and coaching
