Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate work location and local medical facility contact details
- Ensure assigned medical equipment is complete and serviceable
- Remain alert and available during clearance activities
- Ensure ambulance and safety vehicle are available for evacuation
- Maintain collective hygiene at work site and ambulance
- Inspect validity of medicine, drugs, and equipment daily
- Report medical coverage or equipment problems to Team Leader
- Provide medical support to stabilize patients during incidents
- Prepare CASEVAC Plan for each working site
- Conduct Casevac exercise at least once a month
- Use communication systems to monitor demining operations
- Report to and take direction from the MA Team Leader
- Conduct periodical refresher medical training for project staff
- Provide trauma emergency room ambulatory experience
- Communicate effectively with receiving hospitals and physicians
- Ensure high standards of conduct
- Ensure all staff are healthy before going to field
- Perform other tasks and duties as required
